 Vijay Deverakonda reveals Mike Tyson abused him on the sets of Liger

The film features iconic boxer Mike Tyson in a small yet important role. The Baddest Man on the Planet even appeared in its trailer. Vijay has now revealed that Mike Tyson jokingly abused him while working on the movie. Liger is a sports drama, written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The Telugu-Hindi bilingual marks the Arjun Reddy actor's Bollywood debut


Vijay Deverakonda has a few fight scenes with Mike Tyson in Liger. He trained for nearly two years to get into shape for the same. During a recent interview, Rowdy revealed that the iconic boxer jokingly abused him on the film sets. He added that Tyson is a good person to work with.

"He abused me a lot, albeit lovingly, in English and I can't even repeat what he said to me. But yes, I had a good time with him," he told IANS.

Vijay Deverakonda added that Mike Tyson is fond of Indian food and music. The legendary boxer, however, is afraid of the crowds here.

"He loves India a lot for its food, music and people. In fact, he used to ask us to bring Indian food for him which he enjoyed a lot. But yes, he is scared of the crowd here," he said.
